As well as the operating holding company, Rail Cargo Austria AG, the Rail Cargo Group includes a further 50 logistics companies in 16 countries in central, southern and eastern Europe. Rail Cargo Group is one of the top 3 rail freight operators in Europe, with a turnover of 2.3 billion Euro, of which currently more than half of it outside of Austria, an EBIT margin of 2.4% and 113 million net tonnes of goods transported on its own freight railways.
